If we had ever co-oped it again we would have played on the highest level. In some cases, we had played thru so many times we knew where every single enemy and item was. ![]() But we had all played thru the game before. We played 3 players on hard and due to specialization it was very easy. I would recommend playing at least on hard. Personally I feel that goes against the spirit of the game, but I'm a bit of an obssesive nut when it comes to SS2. This means if you're really obsessed with maxing everything out you can never touch the stations and lemming youself thru a variety of situations. I believe the reason they did this was single player reloading if you mess up isn't bad, but multiplayer it can be annoying. If instead you don't touch the station, you come to life aft the door you zoned in at. If you've touched the station then you come to life there like normal, spending 10 nanites. Modify also becomes a more appealing skill in multiplayer (I always just wait for epsteins on single-player.) Finally, you both have to be in the same "zone," so if someone uses a door that loads a new area, you both go.Ĭoming back to life can work in one of two ways. Also, you can work on an item, then drop it for someone else to pick it up. Both parties get any data you pick up, all research completed is shared, and advancement points are shared. ![]() In multiplayer anything that goes in your inventory slots when you pick it up only you get. ![]()
